CBSE Boards Zen Garden

I need to study now cause I have my boards exams from 2nd March and I am not really good at studies and if I switch on the computer even for 10 minutes then I will think about it for 10 days. My computer is like a drug for me so I have decided that I just wont open it till 24th March on which I have my last exam. So I will blog again then, I shall blog about the great day that I had after the ending of my class 10th Board Exams.

Till then Just hope that I am alive AND studying AND not secretly switching on the computer AND that I get good marks.

Hey! Guys check this out. I made a vector image of Ginji Amano. He is my favourite cartton character. He is the main character of the serial Get Backers. It is actually a team of two people called Ginji Amano and Ban Mido.

I want DVD's of this series episodes, but they are not available in India. they are available on Amazon for 100$, for both the DVD's. Once I am done with the freelancing frenzy I would probably buy it!!!!

Le Parkour

I think that after David Belle first started the new discipline called Parkour it has become very popular around the world. Also, the music video of the song Jump by Madonna featured Parkour due to which it became more popular. I think that Parkour should now be added the list of the sports that are currently included in the XGames. I mean that, it should be given that status of a real sport now. Wont you agree?

Open Source

I have started an Open Source Project on SourceForge.net. This is a JavaScript based Graphics Library that I will be making after my board exams. This is not like all other Graphics Library, as this one would allow you to make 3-D shaped such as bars and probably pyramids and will also allow you to add effect to the graphics that you are making. The effects that I will be including will be pretty simple such as a Gradient Effect and a Black and Whit effect etc.

As you all know that I am a great fan of small Flash Games. Well, I believe that these games are the only things that actually prove that Flash is required in this world. Otherwise all thoses stupid sites made in Flash just take a lot of loading time and the same affect can be brought by using animated GIF's and by using JavaScript and DHTML controls.

Spectrum : Pop Art

Well most of us know IEEE Spectrum as a technology related magazine. But on thing that I have noticed in almost all the issues of Spectrum is the fact that all the illustrations in the magazine are very nice and almost all of them have a kind of old comic book or pop art feel to them. I really like, see for your self –

Why MSN??

I recently noticed on Alexa that Yahoo is the most visited page on the Internet followed by MSN and them Google. Now the thing that really pissed my off was the fact that Google came after MSN. I started wondering how this could be possible. I mean everybody loves Google. They could make a Television program on Google and it would beat any other show. So I did find out why MSN is second and the reason is –

The Microsoft people are very nasty. Whenever you use the Internet Explorer 6 or later the default homepage as MSN.com. Most of the people who are not computer friendly do not even know how to change it. But now that the IE7’s default homepage is Yahoo.com and Yahoo News, things might start to change…lets wait and see.

Bring It On

Ah! The bloody examinations are coming again! The practical will be held tomorrow. I am ready for them this time (at least I hope). I think I have studied enough to pass with RGB or CMYK colors if not flying colors. It will definitely not be black and white like last time.

I have rarely switched on the computer for fun stuff these days as you would have seen by my blogging frequency.

Now, all that I have to say is Bring it On. I am ready for the exams.

MacBook to MacBook Pro

A few minutes ago I just found out that the Apple Inc. is trying to fool me in a very small way. You see the MacBook is of two types, one is of 1.83GHz and the other one is of 2.00GHz, and there prices are 1099$ and 1299$ respectively. Now, the MacBook Pro is of two types as well. One is 2.16GHz and the other one is something like 2.4GHz and there prices are 1999$ and 2499$ respectively.

If you take the second type of MaccBook of 2.00GHz of processing power and add an additional 512MB RAM to it, which would make the grand total 1474$. No these people are asking for 500$ just for the extra 0.16GHZ?? I think it is a bit unfair even though they give some extra hard drive.
