Stunt Driver!

As you all know that I am a great fan of small Flash Games. Well, I believe that these games are the only things that actually prove that Flash is required in this world. Otherwise all thoses stupid sites made in Flash just take a lot of loading time and the same affect can be brought by using animated GIF's and by using JavaScript and DHTML controls.

Well, this game is prett cool, check it out at MiniClips: Stunt Driver. Here is a screenshot so that I can get you excited -

Tazo!

Remember the Tazos that use to come with the Lays or Cheetos packets? I finally realized why they were named so. If I remember correctly, the first tazos to come in India were that of Looney Toones. Remember the Tasmanian Devil, al the Looney friends call him Taz. And a Tazo similar to the Tasmanian Devil, when launched goes at a very high speed and is constantly rotating. Thus from -

Tasmanian Devil > Taz > Tazos

Counter Strike : Easy

I finally finished the Easy level of Counter Strike : Condition Zero a few days back. This is my first time ever that I have completed a "LEVEL" of any of the big games. I am used to playing small games like Mario, Donkey King, Road Rash etc. Feels great!

Tony Hawk and BMX!!!

You know the game Tony Hawk Underground right! Well you would also know that it is a complete skateboarding game. Now that where you are wrong!

You can also ride a BMX bike on all the Tony Hawk locations as well. Just go to the cheats section and write the follwing code there - "the_condor". Remember the underscore in between. And voila now you can also ride the BMX on THUG2!!!

Virtually Real

I think people confuse real life with games a lot. Today, when I saw Anuj(a.k.a LaLa), a senior of mine playing Need For Speed Underground in Auto transmission, I told him that he should pla in manual as it gives more control. He says to me, "Have you ever driven anythin apart from a cycle?".

Alright, so I might not have driven anything aprt from a cycle or skates but I do know a lot about Need For Speed(definitely more that LaLa). Knowing how to drive in real life and the one in NFS are two extremely differnt things. They are not interconnected whatsoever. And even if he has driven a car I am so sure it is not even close to the tuner cars that are available in the NFS series.

So sometimes, just sometimes people should realize that if they can do something in real life they would be able to do it in a computer game as well and vice-versa!

Mario was everywhere!!

Do you remember those good old days of what we now call Retro Gaming. Games such as Mario, Donkey Kong, Popeye and even Space Invaders. Then, gaming was not as intense as it is now it used to be plain fun. I have also noticed that at that time Mario was everywhere. Here are a few examples -

Punch Out: It was the only official NES title to make use of MMC2, Multi Memory Controller. dont you see that the guy that is saying "fight" looks a lot like Mario.

Donkey Kong: As we all know that Mario made his debut in video games in Donkey Kong.

Cleaning: Even the NES Cleaning Kit features a huge picture of Mario cleanging the box.

PSP : NFS Carbon

These are the details of the Need For Speed Carbon: Own the City that have been released for the PlayStation Portable. If the PC one too has the same features then it is going to be one hell of a game.

Need for Speed Carbon takes handheld racing to a whole new level with all-new crew-based gameplay and an exclusive east coast open-world city. Settle an ongoing turf war by building an unstoppable crew, winning races against your fiercest rivals, and outwitting the cops. How you choose and manage your crew will be the difference between victory and defeat. The city is yours for the taking with Need for Speed Carbon the ultimate in handheld racing.

Crew-Based Racing —Choose up to two wingmen from your crew to race with you and trigger their unique skills on the fly to dominate the opposition and give you the ultimate racing edge.

Race and Cruise an Open World —Explore and race in a city filled with alternate driving paths, diverse race modes, and hidden secrets.

Control the City —Win circuits, sprints, lap knockouts, and other events on your rivals’ turf to take over the city one neighborhood at a time.

Licensed, Tunable Cars —Choose from more than 25 real-world cars—each uniquely equipped with their true-to-life physics—and then customize its look and performance to suit your crew’s style.

Crew and More —Choose a unique graffiti logo for your crew, select your signature crew color, and load a custom soundtrack.

Manually defeating the master!!!

Today I went to Avi's house to give him the songs of NFS Carbon. After copying the files I wanted to play Need For Speed Underground 2 on his PC so I did some races nd after doing a Magazine cover he told me to Jump to Garage and then save my Career. Then he told me to Quick Race(Why?) and then he started to do a StreetX on Manual Gear(I use Auto) he did a race of 10 laps with no opponents and told me to just watch.

I watched and after he completed the race he went to options chages the transmission to Auto and told me to do the same track with the same preferences. I switched it to Manual, just to see how it feels. And on the second try I was only 0.56 seconds away from the time that he took. I also beat him in one of the laps.

It was the first time I had ever beaten him in racing. It feels great man!! Now I have totally switched to Manual tranmission.

The butt-shot!!!

I recently got Counter Strike: Condiotion Zero and while I was playing I realized that apart from the head shot that kills the other person immediately, one can also use the "Butt Shot". Just aim at the enemy's buttock while playing through a sniper rifle and shoot. The person dies immediately. I am also sure that, that person's health was full cause I was playing de_dust with me alone as terrorist and three others as counter terrorists. I had only seen two other bots whom I had killed in one shot(the headshot that time). I will try this more number of times and confirm!!

ElastoMania

I have been playing this game - ElastoMania for a very long time and realized that it was time to blog about it. Elasto Mania is a motorbike simulation game based on a real physical model. You can download the shareware version of Elma by clicking on this link it is about 1.1MB in size. The game requires Win95/98/2000 with directX 5.0 or later, 16MB RAM. It supports a sound card.
